Just when the possibility of finding evidence of ancient Martian life is starting to gain our attention, two researchers propose an even grander theory that life or, more specifically consciousness, is everywhere. In fact, these researchers Johannes Kleiner, a mathematician and theoretical physicist at the Munich Center For Mathematical Philosophy, and Sean Tull, mathematician at the University of Oxford, believe that the universe itself is conscious. After reading the article, I immediately wondered to myself, “Could this quantum theory model eventually prove the existence of God?” Although this question was never raised in the article, it certainly does make the conscious mind wonder.
