Bitcoin Or the U.S. Dollar: Will the Real Bubble Please Stand?


Over the past year, much of the growing buzz in finance circles concerning the explosive growth of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin in particular, has focused on the question of whether they are fairly-priced, revolutionary digital assets or simply newfangled speculative bubbles. Recently, many are asking if the bubble-like characteristics of cryptocurrencies result less from speculative manipulation than from hyper-inflationary pressure caused by the Fed’s massive money printing efforts over the past decade.
